This just in: Spammers fib | CNET News.com
The FTC's study, False Claims in Spam, which analyzed 1,000 pieces of unsolicited commercial e-mail gleaned from FTC databases and government officials' in-boxes, found that 66 percent of spam contains some type of fraudulent claim.
I wonder how much of my taxpayer dollars they spent for this. Let's see 1000 spam emails, gee I get that in my Yahoo email box in one day, and I would say the numbers are closer to 100% but that is a Conservative guess. I am so glad that I have the government to tell me just what the truth is in Spam e-mail.
